The tour starts in Kilimanjaro and ends in Arusha. Along the way you’ll have countless adventures in your own animal tracking vehicle, traveling the wild African savanna in search of big game. If you’re a nature enthusiast at heart, this trip is definitely one you don’t want to miss!

Itinerary Day Description

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Arusha – Serengeti National Park.

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Your driver guide will meet you. After your safari briefing you will depart for Serengeti National Park.

On your way to Serengeti you will visit Maasai Boma Tour;

Maasai Boma Day Tour

Maasai are an ethnic group inhabiting northern Tanzania. They are among the best known local populations due to their residence near the many game parks of the African Great Lakes, and their distinctive customs and dress. The Maasai speak the Maasai language.

An authentic glimpse into the distinctive Maasai culture is now accessible to Eco-tourists in Tanzania. Preservation of their proud traditions has set the Maasai apart from other indigenous groups in Tanzania, and embodies a side of Africa with which few outsiders can contact. You will be able to participate in a variety of unique cultural activities, and encouraged to delve as deep into the experience as possible!

You will further drive onto Serengeti National Park with plenty to see on the way!). En route you will see grazing zebras, antelopes and giraffes and sometimes some buffalos hiding in the bush.

The South Serengeti ecosystem belongs partly to the Serengeti National park and partly to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ndutu Area). You will start your day 1 game drive into Serengeti National Park.

You will be able to game drive the central Serengeti en route to your camp. 

Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.

Until late afternoon at 5:30pm you will drive to your camp and retire your day for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp  . All meals included

Day 2:  Full day in the life of Wildebeest migration in Serengeti

You will have breakfast at the camp and embark yourself on a full day game drive in Serengeti National park.

The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomenon.

Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt.

2nd overnight at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp  . All meals included

Day 3: Serengeti – Arusha Town

Morning after breakfast, you will go from morning game drive and drive to Arusha town for your dinner and overnight at The African Tulip Hotel  on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4: Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

After breakfast from your lodge, you will drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for domestic flight to Dar es Salaam.

Farewell and we’ll see you again in Tanzania
