Take this safari trip to Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Crater! You will visit the wonders of the amazing Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire gigantic Baobab trees and huge elephant populations.
The tour starts from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and further to Zanzibar Island with road transfers return. Finally, from the Zanzibari Hotel to Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ)

Itinerary Day Description
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) –Tarangire National Park
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver guide will meet you. After your safari trip briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park.
On the way, you will have a stop in Arusha town for coffee (Taste the true Tanzanian coffee) and currency exchange if deemed necessary. Also, you can buy few items of personal nature that you may need from our local supermarket.
With packed lunch boxes, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park. This is Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.
Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.
There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephants.
After your day game drive, you will drive out of the park and head to the famous town of Karatu located few miles away from the main entry gate to Ngorongoro Crater. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Marera Valley Lodge – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater – Natural Wonders of the World
Early morning breakfast from Marera Valley Lodge, with packed lunch boxes, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into Ngorongoro Crater floor for a wonderful game drive and picnic lunch. The inside of the crater is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the highest wild animal densities worldwide. Among the species are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. You might expect to see the ‘Big Five’ in one day!
You will have a picnic lunch on one of those spectacular picnic sites on the crater floor, by the hippo pools. Afterward, it will be time to ascend the crater walls and drive out to Arusha and further to Kilimanjaro Airport for your return flight.
